SCAD seeks an accreditation manager to manage the overall workflow and timelines associated with compliance and reaffirmation efforts related to regional and specialized accreditation or certification (SACSCOC, NAAB, CIDA, HKCAAVQ, EDB, DEVB, SCCHE, NAIA).

In this role, you will report to the executive director of institutional effectiveness. You will research, edit and co-author accreditation documents and reports, including document management, storage and naming conventions. You will prepare for onsite/offsite/electronic accreditation reviews and follow-up on action items for SACSCOC compliance, especially as it concerns substantive change.

Additionally, you will inform faculty and staff of accreditation event preparation and procedures, and develop risk analyses for accreditation compliance, as well as other appropriate analyses as assigned.

The ideal candidate has a background in social science research methods and some level of experience or background in art and design. You should possess the strong organizational and planning skills required to handle multiple projects simultaneously, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills and a high tolerance for ambiguity. Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing and analysis, are essential as is the ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

Requirements:

− Master’s degree
− Minimum of three years of experience at an institution of higher education, taking an active role in an institution’s reaffirmation for regional or programmatic accreditation
− Ability to travel to represent the university
− Experience with SACSCOC, NAAB, or CIDA strongly preferred
− Familiarity with accreditation software and websites preferred
