The Savannah College of Art and Design seeks a director of internal audit to support the university’s innovative, right-brained objectives.

At SCAD, we think big. As the director of internal audit, you will safeguard the university’s cutting-edge ideas by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to risk management and governance processes.

With your clear understanding of state laws, regulations and federal compliance requirements, you will protect university assets and safeguard its financial operations. When we conceive of new projects, you will ensure their compliance with policies and appropriateness of controls. When we hit a creative road block, you will seek constructive solutions and opportunities for improvement, assuring university operations run effectively.

With our imagination and your auditing insight, SCAD will remain at the forefront of art and design education.

 -Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
 -Experience in public higher education or auditing preferred
 -Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), auditing standards (GAAS), governmental accounting standards (GASB) and governmental accounting systems
