SCAD seeks a music, photo and video clearance coordinator to support the SCAD legal team by ensuring clearance for all external media assets used to share the SCAD story.

Reporting to the university attorney, you will coordinate, clear and catalog all external media assets used in projects produced by and for SCAD for internal and external purposes while managing the clearance binder for each project. You will assess and identify options for producers and others seeking outside visuals and also provide professional legal support including processing form agreements and workflow management.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated background in online research and legal forms, and experience creating and changing templates. In order to work effectively with different departments and external partners and vendors, you should be a strong communicator who is well organized and has a keen eye for detail along with impeccable customer service skills.

Willingness to travel and work passed standard schedule and weekends on short notice is essential, and you should be able to prioritize work, multitask and work effectively under strict deadlines.


- Bachelor’s degree
– One to three years experience identifying and clearing photos and videos
– Knowledge of TV, film and music personalities, pop culture and current events
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
– Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of responsibilities
– Team player, able to collaborate with others to identify creative solutions
– Fast-learner with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines is a priority and handling multiple matters at once is the norm
– Strong analytical skills and sound judgment, with great attention to detail
– Legal experience analyzing and applying basic legal principals preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in excess of standard work week and on weekends with short notice
