SCAD seeks a director of curriculum and assessment to join the university’s institutional effectiveness administration.

In this role, you will collaborate with executive leadership, and provide expertise and guidance in establishing assessment priorities, identifying data needs and gaps, and developing assessment plans in line with best practices in higher education.

Additionally, you will lead curriculum development, manage the process and quality of curricular enhancement, and ensure quality, relevancy, accuracy and consistency of curricula.

The ideal candidate possesses the theoretical background and skills needed to lead the curriculum and assessment processes from concept to completion, including development of course content, articulation of learning outcomes, instrument design and formatting, data collection and entry, descriptive analysis, presentation of results, and discussion of implications and next steps.

You should have experience creating innovative, meaningful displays of information and presenting complicated information to audiences with diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills are essential to this role, as well as the adaptability and flexibility to execute multiple goals and plans within a fast-paced, team-oriented entrepreneurial organization.

You should also have experience with statistical analysis programs such as SPSS, and be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Requirements:
– Master’s degree in a related field
– Three years of experience in education, student outcomes assessment, program evaluation, and/or educational research with skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting
