Help students achieve their goals in this field as a part-time professor for SCAD eLearning.

SCAD seeks educators who will encourage innovation and process development in their instruction, with an emphasis on practical concepts of the design profession. Candidates should be flexible and able to guide students within the varying disciplines of interactive design or game development.

The ideal candidate has experience developing interactive media for professional clients as well as using Blackboard learning management system. You should be proficient in state-of-the-art software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and/or Maya, 3D Studio, ZBrush, Modo, Unreal, Unity or CryEngine. A background in programming and instructing programming languages, including C++, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and ActionScript, is a plus.

Professional-level visual art and design skill and experience is preferred, as is experience educating at the college level and developing online coursework. For interactive design applicants, familiarity with content management systems, mobile applications development and physical computing is also a significant plus.
