SCAD was the first institution to offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in sequential art, including the only M.F.A. sequential art program in the U.S. Join this dynamic team and advance the university’s distinguished program as a full-time sequential art professor at SCAD Atlanta.

Candidates must submit a portfolio that reflects strong visual storytelling skills and a high degree of technical ability with digital and traditional tools. This includes a mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Manga Studio and Mac-based operating systems, and proficiency with production, self-publication techniques and digital coloring. You should demonstrate a passion for teaching and inspiring students, and be comfortable working with students and faculty of diverse backgrounds.

⎯ Terminal degree in sequential art or a related field
⎯ Five or more years of recognized industry experience and publication credits
⎯ College-level teaching experience preferred
