SCAD seeks an administrative assistant to contribute valuable support services to the registrar’s office.

In this role, you will provide superior customer service to visitors to the front desk of the registrar’s office, including SCAD students, family members and university personnel. Additionally, the administrative assistant answers all incoming calls and voice mails on the central phone line of the registrar’s office, manages the registrar email account, organizes department materials and supplies, and supports office initiatives. The office oversees student academic records and information protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, or FERPA, and you will assist with matters requiring confidentiality, discretion, accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills and displays discipline, honesty and integrity. You should be highly motivated, able to meet deadlines, and comfortable working as part of a team and as an individual contributor. Successful work experience in an academic environment is preferred, as is Banner experience.

Requirements:
